The Governor represents your character in Kingshot. As you level up, you unlock skill points to invest in various talent trees. Governor Gear provides additional stat bonuses.
Key systems: Governor Level, Governor Skills (Conquest/Expedition trees), Governor Gear, Governor Charms.
Governor skills are divided into two categories:
Conquest Skills - Active skills used in manual battles and auto-battles. These include powerful AoE attacks and buffs.
Expedition Skills - Passive stat boosts that apply to your troops in all game modes. Focus on your primary troop type.
Governor Gear provides massive stat boosts. Available equipment slots:

Gear can be forged and upgraded at the Mastery Forge (unlocked at Town Center level 20). Higher grades require more materials and provide better stats.
Charms are special enhancements that provide percentage-based stat bonuses. Unlocked at Town Center level 25.
